Christine most recently served as a National Security Legal Advisor at U.S. Army Europe (2015-2021) for Ukraine. Her portfolio focused on international law and operational and legal planning for sensitive and complex national security plans, directly advising the 3-star commander.
Christine served in key roles on U.S. Army Europe’s Crisis Action Teams for a Non-Combatant Evacuation Operation and the Global Pandemic.
In addition, Christine served as the Army’s primary legal advisor on Ukraine, Georgia, security assistance, and cooperation matters, and as the primary legal advisor to the Strategic Plans Directorate at the Headquarters. Before her time in Europe, Christine spent a decade in various assignments at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, as both a JAG Officer and Civilian Legal Advisor.
Prior to joining the Army in New York, she served on the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), where she was CFR’s Military Fellows program manager and Research Associate in National Security Policy.
